The Bethel EDC Education Program is designed to further the education and post high school educational opportunities of children in low income communities and communities of color. This is achieved by supporting and supplementing the learning experience of children from first through sixth grade. The program is also designed to teach children socialization skills.
1) Provide a safe and secure space for learning
2) Provide learning opportunities and environment for cohorts of 30 students
3) Provide a student/teacher ratio of 1/5
4) Bring Children to Grade Level or above
5) Enhance learning experience so that reading and learning can be fun
6) Give children tools to resolve conflicts without violence
